Hello, shoppers! We’ve officially made it past our first month in game. Thank you all for sticking with us!! Discounts for everyone. Here’s a list of our updates for August.

In game updates are as follows:


» What the doubles have destroyed inside the mall will slowly be restored throughout the month in a mysterious fashion! This means that come the last day of August everything within the mall will look the same way it did on everyone’s first arrival: still dingy, but considerably more inhabitable than it was post-double infestation. Come every morning until that point, things like broken windows and destroyed shops, everything in between, will gradually look.. Not brand new, but just the way it should! Dusty, dirty, but serving its purpose.

» Our monthly Haunting for August 2020 is officially up, and can be found here on the Haunting post! A partner search comment will be posted below for those who wish to plot or find others who wish to investigate.

Another exciting thing we’d like to officially announce is that we have an application round and a TDM this month! Applications will open on the 19th at 6pm PST, and the TDM will be going up on the 8th at 12pm PST. We’re trying things out differently this time, so we’ve made a couple refreshers + updates to the invite system on how things will work this time around:

» People who were invited as +1’s now have their own +1.

» People in game whose +1’s dropped, or were swept, may invite someone else.

» The TDM will be open to those who do not have an invite.

» Those who do not have an invite but would like to apply may PM the mod account (this one!) for an invitation. Go ahead and PM us with a link to your top level on the TDM and we will happily extend the invitation to you! As a note: you MUST have an invite in order to reserve and apply.

» If existing players wish to app a second character, it will not count towards the player slot cap of 40.

» Currently, there are 21 slots left, and the only cast that is close to reaching cap is the Fire Emblem cast (3/4).

As for our calendar, this is what it officially looks like for August:

» August 4th, 6:00PM PST - Hauntings for the month will be announced + Monthly Mod post.
» August 8th, 12:00PM PST - TDM is live.
» August 12th, 12:00PM PST - OOC plotting for the event.
» August 15th, 6:00PM PST - The event goes LIVE, and reserves open.
» August 19th, 6:00PM PST - Applications open, and reserves close.
» August 26th, 6:00PM PST - Applications close, and OOC Intro goes up.
» August 30th, 6:00PM PST - Intro Log goes LIVE.
» August 31st, 11:59 PM PST - AC is officially closed and sweeps will be processed the following few days.

We’d also like to ask if anyone has any feedback, or suggestions, for how they felt the first month was and how to adjust it/what they’d like to see, please let us know! We’ll be setting up a Mod Feedback comment over here with screened comments!

SO stuff will be repaired and replaced, etc... does that include food stores or are we still partying with low reserves?

so cinnabar's world doesn't really have music - meaning i'm super down for them to partner up with anyone else!! i think they'd be fascinated by it, so it would be easy for them to run into people there. please hit me up for haunting times and introduce sad rock to something nice...

It does not include food stores, unfortunately! The only parts of the mall that will be restored to their former dingy state will be the infrastructure (windows, doors, walls, pillars, etc). It does not include supplies such as food that was destroyed.
